What length clubs do you use?

im 6'3 and have been hitting callaway x-18's 1 inch over standard, a friend of mine let me hit his callaway x-20's 1/2 inch under standard and im hitting the ball great and even drawing it better than ever. my swing feels great? what do you use?

My mx23's are standard lie and length, but with and extra stiff shaft for my 99mph swing speed. I would get fitted by a pro to find the optimal make and model, with the proper flex. Otherwise you will be swinging around your clubs, not with the flow of them, which creates sooo many bad habits.

The person's height, swing speed, stature, arm reach and hand size are the factors which will determine the length of club best for you.. Club fitting by a good professional  will match the right club with the physical stature of the player. And don't forget the proper grip size. More bad shots are hit because the grip does not match the hand size.

I'm about 6'6 and I had the opposite experience, I was hitting standards, and a friend of mine was hitting plus 1's. We were both playing awful so we swapped for the rest of the round and I went out a bought a set of plus 1's the next day. Basically I go with whatever works.

I use standard length clubs, but they may be a little undersized.  I dont really know for sure.

Height has nothing to do with what length club you need.  What matters is the distance from your knuckles (with arms at your sides) and the ground.  People with longer than normal arms need a shorter club, people with short arms need a longer club.  One of my pals is about 6' 4" and always used standard length clubs.  Then he got fitted by a professional and realized he had short alligator arms.  He got longer clubs and now hits it much better.  Moral of the story - always get fitted by a pro to optimize your equipment.  Sounds like your arms may be a bit long for your body, thus the shorter club works better for you.  I happen to use standard length.
