What length shafts do you use in your irons?

im 6'2 and just got fitted to 1/2 under standard, ive givin up about 5 yards a club but im down the middle

  1. 5'11" standard length and lie and can play a draw or a fade.


  2. just because you are tall dosent mean you would need longer shafts its to do with arm length to if you have short or long arms .but to be frank i would sooner have 150 dead straight with my 8 iron than 165 in the bunker or trees etc etc

  3. well Im 62 and 1/2 and use inch over 3* upright

  4. I'm 6'2 also but; am fitted +1/2  2* upright I too lost  ave. five yards BUT; accuracy  has improved so the end run is lower scores posted. Come to think of it I'm playing stainless now I was playing 1025 carbon steel wonder if that's the reason for the yardage difference. I'll chalk it up to getting older..lol.
