  1. Avoid scandals and never make a promise they can not deliver.

When a politician cannot do something without the support of ciitizens the politician then must ask the help of citizens.

Global Warming is such an issue. Politicians could learn if they set themselves a limit of no more than 5 years to get things done. The other thing respect democracy at home and abroad and leave it to citizens to resolve their problems or build up a UN prescence use that instead of forcing the will of any country on that of another. Global Warming issues are some lessons politicians could learn. To say so may seem boring but if in The 1960's Civil Rights and Global Warming were made into a combined central issue as oil powers war and to have concern over Civil Rights and Global Warming instead of over Communism could have moved things up faster if done right then. No oil crises and no wars in The Middle East. Not saying it was their fault  as everyone had a blind spot then and still does with regard to oil powered vehicles.

  2. When morals are in place in government, things run much more smoothly for EVERY American.  NOT just the croneys and special interest groups!
