Question:

What level am I on in gymnastics?

Okay, so i do non-competitive gymnastics, but I'd like to know what level I'd be on.

Here's what I can do:

Bars:

pullover, backhipcircle & a "straddle" dismount(I don't think this is the exact for it though)

Floor:

all the basics: cartwheel, round off, handstand, forward & backwards roll, etc. I can also do diverolls, back extention rolls, front walkover, backwalk over, handstand pirroet(i don't think that's how it's spelled) and also a backhandspring, but on soft mats & air track.

Beam:

forward roll and cartwheel.

So what level do you think i'd be on?

  1. I'm a gymnast as well.

    First, go to the gym you would like to go to, and ask for an evaluation. I'm pretty sure all gyms have this. Basically, they just bring you in for like 10 minutes at the most, and evaluate everything you can do. If not:

    Can you do a full? (Round-off, flip-flop, back tuck.) You need to be able to do this to go onto Advanced. If you can just do a Round off flip flop, Intermediate will be more your speed.You can do all the basics of Bars and Beam, so you seem around Intermediate. But of course, I am not a coach so the first place to go is to your gym for an evaluation.

    You will do great in gymnastics, you sound like you are good!
