Question:

What level of french do i need to live and work in france?

i intend to teach english or chinese there.. and im wondering to what level of french do i need. elementary, intermediate , advanced or superior?

and im gonna start with elementary which is A1 level of the European Global Proficiency Scale. is that enough?

  1. You have to be fluent in French (what you call "advanced").

    Plus, in the A1 level, people don't speak English or Chinese, so you'll have to speak French fluently to do some correct explanations.

    Speaking French fluently is almost necessary to live in France because of the administration etc...
