What levels should my gains be at with this amp and these speakers? Im new to this

Pair of

Pioneer TS-D1602R

6-1/2" 260W 2-Way Car Speakers

RMS Power Range : 60 Watts

Peak Power Handling: 260 Watts

A pair of

Pioneer TS-D6902R

6"x9" 360W 2-Way Car Speakers

RMS Power Range : 80 Watts

Peak Power Handling: 360 Watts

The RMS numbers are also different for the pairs of speakers so i don't know what levels the gains should be at in order to achieve max clarity and power.

  1. Depends on the head unit, if your preamp voltage is 2V then that is what the gain is to be set at.


  2. Do a search for the user sparky3489 and he's got a blog that you can use to match your RMS to EXACTLY what you want.
