Question:

What lies outside the multi-universe theory?

I don't really follow the multi-universe theory as I'm inclined to some sort of determinism. But if every possible outcome of any situation spins off into a parallel universe, how does that fit in with probability? Because it must make any outcome as likely as any other, if every one effectively comes to pass, unless there's something 'outside' the universes, 'rating' them...

Also, doesn't it mean we'll each live for ever, as there's a very small chance each of us, somewhere, will survive any given situation? And, if so, why doesn't our reality contain very, very old people?

  1. the multi-verse theory basicly says anything and everything has happened, is happening and will happen in the future.... there are countless 'verses out there and each one is the same as the next, except in one you might be russian instead of american... or you might not be there at all, but everything and everyone else is...

if you're trying to imagine the multi-verse, let your mind run wild... like i said, in this theory EVERYTHING will happen, eventually if it hasn't already....

and the way i've come to understand them, is they're like bubbles in a bubble bath... they form, disappear, reappear, collide with each other, merge, etc...

one spin-off theory is that two 'verses crashing into each other could be what triggered the big bang.... although like with anything else in this subject, it is just theory. we've still yet to prove any parallel dimensions.... much less an infinite number of them.

  2. Im sure you know of the String theory and how the dimensions and matter is formed by the clashing of two planes of energy, I know its hard to do, but think of each universe layered flat (not literally flat) on top of each other stacked as if they're were pancakes, And as for parallel universes, adherent according to physics, yes there is a parallel universe to ours with opposite terms though, you are typing here with your right hand, there your typing with you left hand, if you are really interested try contacting Dr. Michio Kaku from CUNY.

  3. The Omniverse, the theory of multiple multiverses.

Alternatively, the omniverse is the forest, a multiverse is a tree in the forest, a universe is a branch on that tree, and all further branches are further subset horizons within that universe.

Aging doesn't have anything to with multiple universes, aging has to do with the length of our Telomeres.

Your thinking mutiple time lines where every outcome of any situation spins off into a parallel time line, time lines and multiple universes are way different.
