  2. read. i read depressing books. some people are so much worse off than us. i watch the news too. its sobering when youre wallowing in self-pity.

    i watch feel-good movies and chick flicks.

    i pat my dog.

    talk to my mom or my best friends.


  3. i have dogs for my company.  they always listen, never talk back and make me get up and move with them.  i take them out in the yard and chase them around which gets me feeling better.

    But for any other time, friends help a lot.

    And definitely, MUSIC. :p

  6. A funny movie, bubbly songs, and a good friend. Plus the thought that tomorrow will be a new day, and that life is still beautiful. ;o) Cheers!

  7. Nothing works better for me than talking to God about my problems and my hopes.

    No matter what the outcome; no matter when I die; I will still be talking to Him, so why not now when I need Him?

  10. I try to watch a funny movie, listen to my favorite music, go for a walk in the park, call a friend and chat, or take a long, hot, bubble bath. Any of these would be a good start, be happy :-)

  11. What usually helps me is some good exercise like walking, running, or working out.  It releases endorphins and makes me feel good.  I always feel very uplifted after a good work out.

  12. Music, writing all my feelings in my diary. That's my release, writing. And i have to have a good cry, too, let it out!
