What live plant is good for my green spotted puffer?

i just set up the tank and im waiting for the sand to settle i still have about a week till i get him but what kind of plant should i get him?

none unless u change the plants alot or there big and hardy cuz they eat/pick at them alot and dead plants are not good for tank puffers do fine with fake plants though if u dont mind little less real look

Since puffers are scaless fish and have sensitive bellies id recommend something soft. Well green spotted puffers are brackish fish so itll be a bit harder to find plants that can live in a brackish enviroment but here are a few:

Java Moss

Java Fern

Anubius

Wisteria

and ive also read that Amazon Sword plants can withstand brackish as well.

My boyfriend has a brackish tank and has mostly Java Ferns in it, theyre pretty neat plants, theyre roots arent suppose to be grounded tho, theyre suppose to adhere to a rock or driftwood but not directly into the gravel.
