  1. like everyone else says it all depends on your swing. if you naturally hit the ball low a higher loft will be best, if you hit it high a lower driver will be better although as you driver degree decreases the harder it will be to hit. all in all it depends on many different things such as shaft flex, kick point, torque etc. the best thing to do is just go to a shop and see what feels good, or if they have a launch monitor use that. but if you really know your swing than you could most likely figure out what would work best for you.

  2. it depends on your individual swing-  I read an article the other day in ESPN the mag in which they interviewed a golf product designer.  He said virtually all golfers use the incorrect equipment.

go to an demo day and try a bunch of different lies and shafts...

  3. Depends on your swing. Go to a pro with a swing machine and try out those 3 different lofts and see which one you like best.

  4. !0.5 to 12.5 deg. is best for 90% of all people who play golf

  5. Probably close to 90% of amateur golfers use 10.5

  6. Basically, the lower the loft the farther it goes, and the lower the loft the harder it is to hit. Same goes with irons, a 1,2,and 3 irons would go very far, but since they are so hard to hit players swap with hybrids. So a 8.5 will go farther than a 9, a 9 will go farther than a 9.5, etc.,etc. If you a beginner start with a 10.5.

  7. Like some other people said, it all depends on your swing.  I've worked at a golf course for the past 7 years as both a caddie and an employee.  I've pretty much seen it all, but the players who have been fitted tend to play better than those who haven't.

  8. Personally I get the best result from a 8.5 degree driver , if you get fitted they can have you hit and check your results on a launch monitor , then you would know what degree is best for you , because nobody has a swing that  is identical.

    Good Luck.

  9. try to go with the highest loft that you can hit , the day of low loft drivers is history . depending on your level of play . try 10.5 . more accurate , more forgiving . you will still be hitting same club second shot . same club . only from fairway .

  10. if you slice the ball go with the 9 and if you hook it occasionally go with a 9.5
