Ok so I got a few things down that could have influenced him to apologise:

Votes for the election

Maybe has Aboriginal friends?

Children may have Aboriginal friends?

Born in country town - people tend to all bond together?

I need some help with others, any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

  1. I am from Sydney,

I feel the Aborigines need our support. They have been out casted from society for many years.

The communities are not against them at all. The Aborigines have a unique culture that represents the history of Australia.

It will take allot of apologising to make it up to them.

As for Kevin Rudd, time will tell if he did it just for his own benefit.

I was quite surprised myself !

  2. ........

  3. simply because it was needed, and it was the right thing to do.

  4. Well it sure wasnt me !!!

    I would say

"votes for the election !!! "

  5. because he has common sense and the government SHOULD have apologised ages ago. he had the heart to know that, unlike his predecessor...

its the governments responisiblity to take the blaim for our past mistakes - they represent the nation and what happened deserves to be apologised for
