  1. He conquered Egypt and most of continental Europe.  He was not always ruthless to the French, and his soldiers seemed to love him.  His wars did decimate the male population in the same way that the American Civil War wiped out all but the very old and the very young men in the South.

One example of his "ruthlessness," was his destruction of the prisoners of war in the Egyptian conquest.  He had no practical way to keep these men, but the prisoners greatly outnumbered the French, and the French had to save their bullets.  So he marched these men "en masse," into the ocean, bayoneting those who tried to escape.  Almost all of the prisoners eventually drowned, although it took a long time for them to tire, and be sucked in by the undertow.

  2. His short stature.  It made him want to be tougher than how people first perceive him and wanted to prove them wrong.

  3. Because he stayed up past his bedtime and was made to only eat his greens.. Now wouldnt u be cranky too?

    hahah thx4dapnts.

  4. In the first decade of the nineteenth century, he turned the armies of France against almost every major European power, dominating continental Europe through a lengthy streak of military victories - epitomized through battles such as Austerlitz and Friedland - and through the formation of extensive alliance systems. He appointed close friends and several members of his family as monarchs and important government figures of French-dominated states.

  5. Well he conquered almost all of Europe, but marched into Russia unprepaired for winter which caused the begining of his decline (Hitler made the same mistake, history repeating itself),  Then Napoleon was sent to an island off the coast of Italy, and returned to Europe and marched across it again but was defeated at the battle of Waterloo and was banquished to an island in the south Atlantic were he spent the remainder of his days.

  6. he was ruthless
