What made Tech N9ne suddenly blow up?

Question

His musical career has spanned 20 years, and now I'm just hearing people talk about him. Was it his new album "Killer"? I thought so at first, but I realized that it wasn't good enough to gain a whole fan base overnight. But I may be wrong. Anyways share your opinion, and if your a Tech fan how did you discover him?

I personally liked him ever since he released "Suicide Letters".

i think its because he started to do some stuff with more mainstream artist i liked him since anghelic and i discoverd him by my friend and just like his sound so got it to his music in like 2001

I think it was when he released Caribou Lou and everyone started noticing it.

Personally i think is older stuff is way better.

I don't really know but I liked him since Suicide Letters too. Killer wasn't really that good but I guess magazines like The Source and stuff gave it reviews and thats how he got popular.

Im not a fan of Tech N9ne. Hes to overrated after Killer album
