What made/how do: you believe in religion?

to all theists out there i just want to know what it was that made you believe in religion. Because in my opinion i see compelling evidence to show that things like evolution are right and creationism wrong. now I'm not trying to judge i just want to know how and why you can believe in religion when everything logical is telling you its wrong?

I pretty much had stopped believing in God about 4 years ago. At that stage I had enrolled in a degree in Trinity College Dublin called Human Genetics. The head guy, Prof. McConnell was fiercely anti-religion and really dismissed the careers of students who confessed to believing in God- he held a special course that was meant to be "open" to discussion but his attitude to students who disagreed with his atheism was remarkable. Suddenly I began to realise that there probably was a God because this bigot was hardly right! :).

by parental teachings and being born again....the Holy Spirit is way above logic which doesnt save anyone...but the spirit does!!
