The success of the Arabic Empire was partially due to the conquests and invasions the Arabians made. The land that was once a part of the Sasanian Empire, Egypt, Libya and west of Libya, North Africa and southern Italy were added to the Arabic Empire shortly after the rise of Islam. Because Muslims would be standing up to the non-Arab rulers who had force the Arabians against each other and labeled them as barbarians, and would attain the booty and rich farming land by invading foreign civilizations, Muslims were very motivated to make conquests. Arabs were also motivated due the fact that by invading foreign civilizations, they would be spreading Islam. During the Abbasid Era, the Abbasids built a centralized, absolutist imperial order.
Am I on the right track? Anything to add?
