  1. Mulholland-Owens Valley Irrigation Project.  He basically connived them out of their water to take to LA.  That's what all those canals in LA are.

  2. An abundant water supply in the form of the Owens River. The Owens drains the Eastern Sierra from just North of Mammoth south to Kern County. Mulholland built a gravity flow ( no pumps at all) from the northern end of the system south to the area around Saugus. Remains the major source of water for the City of Los Angeles to this day. Mulholland died in disgrace when the dam he built collapsed and killed people (about 500) down the Santa Clara River Valley all the way to Ventura There is more but you will have to do that yourself Good luck on your homework assignment, you should not wait until Sunday afternoon to do it.
