Question:

What magazine is good for endangered/threatened animals/species?

I cant seem to find a good one. I am also looking for a subscription for a magazine about turtles. Not the 'Turtle magazine' for kids. Can anyone help?

  1. I would have to say National Geographic!  I'm glad to see another trying to help the endangered species around the world.


  2. National Wildfife Federation, National Audubon Society, National Geographic.  And check out this site on the IUCN website.  There's bound to be some good reading material there.  Good luck.

  3. I really doubt that any animal can read a magazine, even the endangered ones.

    The Audubon Institute publishes a quarterly for their contributors, so does the world wildlife fund.  These are both respected organizations with proved track records in their conservation efforts.  I believe them to be worthy of my contributions.

  4. The Wildlife Conservation Society has a wonderful magazine.  Generally it's available to members who in addition to a year long subscription also gain free admission to various parks and zoos.  A portion of the membership dues goes to saving wildlife.  The magazine is published monthly.
