What magazine would fit my daughter [She's turning 11 in Dec.]?

Question

Is Cosmo Girl, Seventeen, girl's life, TEEN , popstar and Discovery Girl magazine good for her? IT HAS TO HAVE TIPS ON FASHION, INFO ABOUT CELEBRITIES, boy information 'like how to get a boy to like you,ETC. [What a p*****n/teen/girl would like]! thanks a bunch!

Give her popstar and J14. J14 isnt even really for teens. its perfect for 11. go check it out next time you see it in a store. see if you approve.

try j-14 or even discovery girl, they're definitely more her age I think than cosmo girl and seventeen

Cosmo anything is too old for her age grp and I wouldn't recommend Seventeen either. The rest are good choices though. Good luck :)

As a mom, why do you want your 11 year old to read about how to get a boy to like her? Isn't she a bit young for that?

j14 IS AWSOME!!!! trust me it doesn't make her grow up tooo fast, but it gives tips for everything you mentioned, boys, clothes, gils stuff, perfect for pre teens. :) I loved it.

Girls life is geared towards younger girls and has cool articles and celebrities. I wouldn't give her seventeen or cosmo girl. I have read some of these myself and its too old for an11 year old. I would go with girls life or popstar.

comso girl and seventeen really give alot of good info for girls about guys and fashion and magazines like tiger beat J14 and popstar have alot of stuff about celebrities. any of those kind of magazines would be good for a p*****n/teen

theres one called M it's good has alot about singers and tv shows and so on..and J-14 is good it's alot like M..and popstar is good I still look at it and I'm not a kid anymore..

Theres a good one about Fashion I just can't think of the name right now when I do I'll come back and let you know..

Alright I Hope this helps... I am 11 also and subscribed to many magazines. I have Seventeen , Cosmogirl, Nick Magazine, and then I occasionaly buy gossip magazines such as J-14 and Tiger beat. Seventeen and Cosmogilr are great magazines and include fashion tips and info on celebraties... but they also have info about s*x and growing up. There are also true stories that may be a little innappropriate. I still love those magazines. If your daughter is mature and understands puberty then Cosmogirl and Seventeen are great!
