  1. Law would help!

  2. From a lawyer.  Law firms do not require degrees for receptionists, secretaries and sometimes, for legal assistants.  You can get a degree in legal assistant but it's not required.  In our firm, the people with the most experience get the most money.  People who have just earned a degree want too much money and don't know anything.  Take whatever job you can get and work your way up.  You will earn more money quicker if you go this route.  Apply for a job at a plaintiff personal injury law firm. Read their websites and be an expert on what they do before you interview.  Get your typing speed up to 50 wpm.

If you're asking what college degree is good to get into law school, it doesn't matter.  The only thing that matters is good grades so pick a major that you can ace out.

  3. To work in a law firm in what capacity? A secretary- none; a paralegal- there are certificates all the way up to Master's degree in Paralegal Science.(higher, and you might as well get a J.D. which stands for Juris Doctor, which is what a lawyer has.)

  4. Generally, a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Doctorate in Law, plus you must pass the bar exam for your state.
