  1. advertising.  your writing and art skills would both be helpful and it sounds fun

  2. Well you could be an English major or something in the Fine Arts department or even Journalism since you like to write. It's perfectly fine not to know what to major in right now, some people get to their junior years in college and still don't know what they want to major in.

I'd suggest going to a bit of a larger school that offers plenty of majors as opposed to a smaller liberal arts school. That way you can explore your options and see what you enjoy.

  3. What do you love to do? What would you do if you could be anything you want?   Relax, once you choose  major, you may change your mind a time or two.  Why do you feel you have to declare a major now?  Unless you're applying to a specific program, you will take the same classes the first year or so.  Check with a career counselor at a local community college.  Keep in mind that very few people end up doing what they thought they would at 18. My BFF is the only person I know who is what she thought she be (Engineer). You may take a class because it looks interesting and it could become your passion.  I love writing and had often thought of journalism, or teaching, still I entertain thoughts of writing...Youn have lots of time to decide on a career or two.

  4. I'm going to copy and paste what I wrote to a previous question that was similar because I think the advice is helpful. (Maybe I'll just keep this answer on record, because this gets asked a lot).

I never get why high school students think they need to have their life figured out before they even get to college. This is what GE classes are designed for. To give you an opportunity to experience a variety of different things before making a decision on what to major in.

Enter school as either Undeclared or a declared major in an area you find possibly interesting (I'd always heard college prefer to accept declared incoming freshmen but I'm not sure how much it matters. You can always switch majors if you do declare). Then take a wide range of GE courses in different areas your first year or two. Take history, biology, math, English, economics, computer science, astronomy, geology. As much as you can. Make sure that your classes fit into the GE requirements so you don't take too many of the same area.

Go to a counselor in your first semester or before you even start as a freshman, if possible (this is what they're there for) and say "I'm not sure what I want to major in. Can you help me plan out my classes for the next few semesters in a way that I will get a diverse selection of areas while still fulfilling GE requirements?"
