if i wanted a job in computer networking what would i major in?

  1. A lot of practice and very wide general and detailed networks knowledge.

    Usually the best jobs are reserved for those who now the most. Collect knowledge. Take certificates if you want. And the most important - work a lot with a range of networks you have access to.

    I heard very interesting statement from my friend who owns an ISP company: "Things you have learnt at school are not important for me as much as your practical knowledge, because it's just different world."


  2. The easiest way is after high school get into Associate program for Computer Network Engieering and after completing that, get into BIS. Don't forget to get certifications of Microsoft and Cisco, these certifications help a lot in getting a secure job. Good luck!
