Hi, I was wondering what coloured eye shadow or eye make-up, in general, would make my eyes really stand out? My eyes are a blue/grey colour, a little more blue than grey, I am fair skinned and have dark blonde hair.

Thanks :)

  1. Basically any type of eyeliner in black or dark brown looks awesome. I really like using white or grey eyeshadow. It looks nice. =]

And if your looking for something really drastic, try red lipstick. It reaally makes light eyes 'pop'.

  2. Im basically the same. I use black eyeliner and a couple different brown eyeshadows.I start with a taupe brown and also use a coppery brown, then I accent it with a chocalate brown on my outer corners. Also highlight under ur brow with a white shimmery eyeshadow. Urban decay has alot of nice brown eyeshadows. And then finish with black mascara.

  3. I think you should use a really dark grey shadoe.  Almost black, but not quite.  Use it on your eyelid and outline the bottom of your eye as well.  (The raccoon eye)  Then you should line the inside with a really dark black liner.  Rimmel makes a good one, and it's not expensive at all.  For mascara, use the blackest black from Maybelline.  And if you're into falsies, use them.  Fake eyelashes do amazing things for your eyes.  I hope this helped.

  4. Try brown eyeliner or eyeshadow. And if it doesn't look to harsh against your skin maybe black eyeliner.

  5. Orange is the complimentary color for blue, so any thing with orange undertones such as brown, gold, or bronze colors would work. Maybe some brown eyeliner with some gold or bronze eyeshadow.

  6. White liner in the lower inner rims will make your eyes sparkle.

  7. Thats how my sister is. We get our makeup at MAC and they told her to get shadows in the subtle orange  or Amber colors and for eyeliner you can do black or they even told her to use charcoal. They make her eyes  pop! Its unbeleivable. and cream colors look good too.

    Hope I helped.

BTW- my sister is very fair skinned and dark blonde hair

  8. Makeup brands like Almay, physicians formula, etc. are now coming up with specific color palettes to make your eyes pop.

My suggestion would be Almay. Good quality product for a good price.

You can always find the brand at any drug store like Walgreens.

    edit:

I'm not positive if you can get it in Australia but I've seen cover girl in your country so I don't see why you wouldn't get Almay.

This link shows you the stores you can get this brand in. http://www.almay.com/pg/help/storelocato...

If none of those stores are located near you then I suggest ordering it off line if possible.

If all else fails go to the store and find your makeup brand of choice. Get some medium brown shades, some peach shades, some tan shades, golden brown shades, light blue and navy and just experiment with those colors. Those are the shades that will make your eyes look the best.

  9. There is a great line of eye make-up made by Almay that would really help you. It comes with a trio and you can look for the color that is right for you.

But to really make blue eyes pop, try not to use colors that are too overwhelming like dark greens. If you use blue and dust a light silver power with a dark blue liner it would really bring out the blue.

    Hope this helped a little.

  10. Brown and orange shadow would make your eyes pop.  If you want to buy a product, I suggest Almay's eye collection for blue eyes.  They have liner, shadow, and mascara.

  11. Yeah you can get Almay here is ausss..

its just not found very commonly with all the "Loreal's and Maybelline's"

Otherwise, if you go on Strawberry.net you could probably find it too:)

    xx

  12. black eyeliner with light shiny eyeshadow

  13. Use a dark eyeliner and mascara. Then use a smokey blue/grey eyeshadow. Then use a little bit of a silver eyeshadow just to go in the crease of your eye to make your eyes sparkle. Something like this:
