What makes Formula 1 Better than NASCAR?

One of the biggest reasons I like Formula 1 better than NASCAR is that I don't have to watch all those cars go around in an oval track and there are right turns.

NASCAR is only in America, and all racetracks are the same boring ovals.

Its faster, the drivers are about 1000x more talented, the glitz and glamour, the cars are pieces of pure genius even from the lesser teams, the tracks/venues, etc.  F1 is absolutely the best racing series in the world...always was, always will be.  NASCAR is still a yokal regional sport.

they actually have to drive, not hold the steering wheel like nascar.  they have to go around different corners and a complicated track--unlike nascar

Nothing. Just the big hype on Danica Patrick made it big. But it is a bit more intense that NASCAR.

It's a the top of the motorsport ladder.

Most F1 drivers enjoy more glory than money.

And they race formulas not cars.

They travel around the world and visit some of the best tracks.

The best drivers in the world race there.

Race car drivers don't resist F1's call.

They dream of driving there.

If they get blown away by the competition they do NASCAR for the money and bash F1 for the luck of overtaking.

F1 is better because of driver skill. Right turn, left turn, shift gears, speed up, slow down. Oval track racing is boring, anybody can stomp on the accelerator and turn left. NASCAR evolved from bootlegging illegal liquor in the Prohibition days. It is still a bunch of "good old boys" driving around in circles and the fans show up to see the crashes, not the racing.

Well not Bernie Eccelstone (Spelling I know, dont care he's s****. euro-trash anyway) thats for sure.

F1 Drivers are better overall. They have to deal with changing course elevation, changing weather, RIGHT TURNS!!, a wide variety of track types.

Oh and the fans. NASCAR fans suck for the most part, they wouldnt know a good race and they boo people who are actually talented (Gordon, Johnson, Kenseth etc.) and cheer for complete flops (Sadler, Dale Jr.)

Formula 1 this year is much better than in recent years, with the removal of driver aids (traction control).  The Monaco Grand Prix was an example of that, especially with the rain; there was much more driver skill involved.  

However the main thing I like about F1 is the amount of research put in to make the car go more faster, especially in the aerodynamics section.

formula one is always better than the NASCAR. the main reason is formula one  is a global sport where as NASCAR is just American. formula one track includes all types of turns, gear shifts, stops etc. it has much to watch where as NASCAR cars drive around a oval circuit... even i feel i can win a nascar gp
