  1. God bless Sri Lanka.

  2. They should prepare quality fast bowling pitches in test matches, at least at first class level, so that they can perform better against pace bowling. When at home, all teams prepare pitches to their strengths, and spin is Sri Lanka's stronghold, they prepare pitches that helps spin bowling, or they will make tracks that are batsmen's paradise. Sri Lanka is strong in the spin bowling department, While India is one of the better teams with good pace & swing bowlers, and a lot of them, which could make even the Australia Cricket team envious.

Wow, what am I seeing? Irfan Pathan Opening the innings?

  3. Looks like Dhoni has done his Homework well.

In the 1st ODI he was taken unawares by Sehwag's  injury and departure. His plans must have revolved around Sehwag- GG partnership.

About your CQ; I think you will be a better judge of that. Think SL is doing well just now. See a lot of new talents.

Edit: SL all out for 142.

  4. Sri Lanka drew a test & ODI series in the West Indies earlier this year.

West Indies has some of the most seamer friendly pitches in the world. Ok West Indies dont have the best seam attack in the world, but they have some capable seamers who caused Australia some trouble when they visited earlier this year.

Sri Lanka coped well in that series against some decent fast bowling.

I dont think Sri Lanka have a major problem with pace bowlers, just like India have no problem with spinners. Sri Lanka have drawn series over in England & New Zealand (seamer friendly countries).

Your theory is that just because Australia destroyed them last year, that Sri Lanka cant play pace well, well honestly that is complete rubbish! Brett Lee was on fire in that series, no team could have stopped him.

Anyway India bowled superbly, but why do Sri Lanka keep preparing pitches that batsmen can barely play a stroke on?? They did the same for when England visited last year, and Sri Lanka lost the series.

The real reason India won is because there batting line-up is better than Sri Lanka's and coped better with the awful conditions

  5. lack of technique

  6. The pitch slowed down considerably. Sri Lanka did not expect this to happen and batted poorly. But no credit is taken away from the Indian bowling attack. They bowled an excellent line even without Ishant Sharma. In this tour so far, we have been only focusing on spin bowling that we forgot what good quality pace bowling can do!

  7. Don't try to be so smart coz u guyz have won 1 test in australia. Sri Lanka is much ahead in facing pace bowlers than india. Don't try to judge their talent in 1 match.

U fellows have got a simple chance to criticize the sri lankance and u r over using that. shame on you.
