What makes a car stereo cut off when playing? I mean the whole thing amp, stereo and everything.?

da battery mite b jacked up or u hav it wired wrong cause dats wat happened 2 me

take it 2 a car stereo place and hav them look at da wiring

sounds like a lose wire on the back of the radio or a short

the radio itself has to be loosing power, if/when the radio looses power everything else is ran from it so it shuts everything off

you need to find out if you have a short in your wires to the radio because one exposed wire can cost you thousands down the road
