looking to buy a new outboard found a 2000 model johnson commercial 25 horse , what makes it different from a regular 25 horse ? thanks

  1. In general terms, a commercial model indicates it's built for rugged extensive use as opposed to leisurely occasional use.  This could mean more robust bearings or electrical systems, which you would pay extra for if purchased new.
