I play volleyball and I need temporary shoes for the week. Mine are lost. I was wondering whether my vans tennis shoes would be okay.

  1. a lot of players tend to go with asics, overall great sneakers for volleyball

  2. no you need a running shoe

  3. You will not get very good support with those.  Volleyball sneaks are lightweight with good support and a yellow gummy sole.

  4. Yes, tennis shoes, or any pair of shoes that do not leave any mark on the gym floor, are okay for temporary use. Running shoes would not provide lateral help, but are better than sandals.

In the long run, you will need volleyball shoes, which I believe are being shipped from your online vendor. I guess the shipment would take a week or so :)

  5. i think nikes, addidas, reboks, but not vans.  they would slip off your feet.

  6. vans probably arent the best shoes to wear, but if theyre all you have, then use them. but regular tennis shoes or running shoes would be better.

  7. They probably wouldnt be the best choice. They dont give you much support! You would be better off just going to like k mart or something and buying a real cheap pair of temporary shoes. Get like a running shoe!
