Question:

What makes a good boat motor from a cheap one?

Just for the sake of it, I was looking into getting either a WaterSki, or an Inflatable Boat with a motor. Price tag wise, it seemed as if the Boat plus motor was more expensive considering I'd have to buy the motor. But I've seen a couple of motors running around here for like $300 upwards (based on E-bay). What makes a good boat motor vs. a cheap one, and would it be better to just go with the WaterSki ?

  1. it depends what you want it for, waterski for fun, speed, and to get wet.  The boat though will be good for fishing.....

for a motor i reccomend a four stroke, much more reliable.

  2. You need to interview the person you are buying it from. If they have used it alot then it is a good one.....an unused boat motor is a piece of junk.
