  1. 60% Patience/Endurance/Diligence.  Those long stake-out hours could kill you.

    20% Excellent Observation Skills.  You can't report what you can't see.  Details...details...and more details.

    20% Competence in Photography.  The angle of the camera is worth a thousand words.

    All that plus tons and tons of common sense.  An iota of intelligence is also a big plus.


  2. Yes, it takes all three, everything have to come together,  intuition,ingenuity,timing and good perception.
