  1. If you wander down to Cockle Bay or Sydney Harbour itself you will find more eating places around the waterfront than you could dream of.  Lots around the side-streets, too.  Also a Chinatown if you like Chinese and a lot of Thai.

There is a particularly good steak bar on Cockle Bay (in the road which runs behind most of the other restaurants)

  2. live show girls kings cross ask for charlie

  3. went at easter and went down to the harbour almost every night we never got bored whether we sat on the opera house steps with a kebab or next to the lovely bars overlooking the harbour-sorry i cant remember places names tho

  4. When I lived in Sydney in the 50s, Kings Cross used to be alright. Not for a family in those days.

  5. It really depends on your budget, most of the places on the harbour are expensive and very average food - unless you've got the cash to try the top resturants - in which case try Cafe Sydney in Customs house - it's really lovely with amazing views.

A drink at the Opera Bar as the sun sets is very Sydney, and will only cost you the price of a beer!

King Street Wharf has the best bars on the water - bungalow 8 is great atmosphere with excellent bar food - and if you're over 25 upstairs 'the loft' is great! I love sydney - enjoy!

  6. drink heaps and drive around the city all night

  7. A TRIP TO MELBOURNE
