  1. run stairs and make your legs stronger to get faster and to get better at catching practice by playing catch obviously but also get something to exercise your fingers and make them stronger so its easier to catch the ball with jsut your hands something like this should help. the most important skill of wide recieivers is catching but after that is good route running so make sure you work on that too

  2. Eye hand coordination is key! When you run (and this is scientifically proven) you arms dictate how fast your legs go... you can't move your arms slow and move fast...they have to be equal... so the faster yjou move you arms the faster your legs and speed get... watch track during the olympics and watch the runners arms and legs... as for cathing... you can do what I did (buy a throwing machine that colleges and nfl use) or practice with your old man... using your hands to cath is key...catching with your body causes the ball to bounce off...another tip is to put your back against a wall (outside or in a gym and try catching the ball...the wall stops your albows from goin back making it so you have to catch with your hands...also (this isn't an answer to your qustion), set up in the same stance all the time... meaning even on run plays set up like your on a pass play to trick the D...also explode off the line the same on run plays as on pass that way the defensive back starts to go back giving the RB more room... but you have athsma so take it easy but work your @ss off...good luck!

  3. first off you are going to have to start running a lot more than one mile. ANother good way to train is by doing a lot of sprints every day. Just try running from one end of the yard to the other and time yourself. Then try to beat that time.

To practice catching there is no other way but to catch things. Get outside with any siblings, parents or friends and make them though balls at you. Try different angles and positions and this way you should get better.

Dont worry usually at football parctice they work on this and they give you good tips.

  4. If you don't have anyone to play catch with, get a tennis ball and throw it off the garage door and catch it. Practice catching it with your hands and fingers. Bounce it high, low, and in between. Run sprints 40 yards or less and try to get in some hills or stairs. Practice jumping. Put a mark on the wall above your standing reach and continuously jump up and touch it. Do this for 30 second intervals several times a day.

  5. just run routes but it helps when you got a corner defending you like in real game situations

  6. you need to have good feet, be quick, have good hands, and be able to jump.

just play catch with your friends like every day and run routes and stuff.  it'll help trust me.

  7. long distance builds endurance not speed.   you have to sprint to get faster.  go to your coach and ask for extra reps with a QB or have someone who can throw work with.  Practice only way to get better.

  8. thats what im going out for and just play catch with your dad and run routes or something and it works great o and buy gloves they help

  9. a good receiver has good foot speed, and catch the ball with his hands, not his body- practice running sprints, 50 yrs, just have someone throw you the ball, like i said catch with only your hand, dont cradle the ball in your chest
