Question:

What makes a great Myspace page?

Hi guys,

OK I have had the most basic Myspace page for quite a while now and I'd like to make it much more interesting.

What makes a great page? Only thing I care about is that it loads quickly and doesn't have one of those annoying static background pics :)

What sites help you with layouts? Where can I learn how to make a layout (note: I already know (x)html, asp, php, etc, so I am sure I can do it)?

Mostly my question is ... what makes a really good Myspace page? Can you give me an example of someone who has a nice one?

  1. I'm new so I'm still working on mine as well, but you'll want to make sure u put a lot of info about yourself on it. Theres some links below to help u w/ your profile. You costumize your own layout, add toys, funny pics & upload pics. Adding videos & music is fun too.

  2. i say simple is better =) im a female nd i love black and white layoutsand simple stuff nd a cool pix of myself on my page but im a gurl idk...but i say simple is always better people rarely see simple things

  3. Go look at my page.

    www.myspace.com/blind_lifehouse

It doesn't take long to load..

Even if you do have dial-up. I don't have very much on it. The layout is simple, friends are  hid (so no one fights over your number 1. Immature, but it happens) and my comments are shortened. The code is found at any layout site. Personally, I like

    www.freecodesource.com

and if that's not it, two s's instead of just one. Now..

I hope this helps, and if it's not what you're looking for, I'm sure there will be a bigger myspace nerd than myself who will come along and help ya out.

    :)

  4. http://lush-lyts.com and http://stylish-layouts.com seriously have everything u cud ever need for myspace :)

They alsohave the best layouts ever

  5. well i get real annoyed with long loading myspace pages.

    i suggest you go simple

    and use this code

    <style>body {background-image:url(INSERT LINK TO PICTURE HERE);}</style><div style="position:absolute;z-index:9;right...

then just get a link to a colour of you choice and enter it in there
