What makes a hero? who is your hero?

I'm gonna go ahead and say that a hero to me is someone that i can see myself growing up to be.

personally i have three heroes who are all completely different.

one is my cousin, who has a weird underground 80's weird band, and he smokes pot and drinks and is the cynical but  hardcore game loving portion of me, who enjoys the psychology of things.

then there is my sisters boyfriend, hes a friendly, polite, respectful fella that also love gaming but is a bit more intellectual than Rex, the above fella.

and then there is Derek, my sisters friend, who is just a totally cool cat. he used to get it on with like 5 girls a month, which is a large number to a fella like me who cant get 1 girl in 15 years. and also Derek is probably the smartest of all three and is just generally the coolest dude i know.

and i just see those guys as paths that i could follow. and thats why i like them and why they are my heroes
