Every great feud has ho have memorable matches.

For me, the best feud I've ever seen was Jake the Snake vs. Rick Rude. It went on for almost a year and I never got bored.

like when they bring personal things into it (but as long as theyre kayfabe)

for example the whole rey mysterio vs eddie guerrero ((R.I.P)) when they brought reys son dominic into, i thought that was an awesome storyline. even when eddie went heel i still loved his lie cheat & steal gimmick and do you know im not even a fan of wrestling infact i despise it but the storyline was so gripping i was hooked lol

It comes down to the build up before the feud even begins, as well as the reason for the feud.   One classic feud that really involved nearly an entire organization & lead to many smaller feuds was back in the NWA - the Best of Seven summer series between Nikita Koloff - The Russian Nightmare & U. S. Champion - Magnum T/A.  There was no real heat between them other than the fact that Nikita was Russian, challenging for a title that signified America.  The real heat came when Nikita threatened to turn the title into the USSR Championship, when he won it.  After that, it was on.  This led up to a number of feuds between Dusty Rhodes/Ric Flair, The Road Warriors/Manny Fernandez&Ric Rude, & so on.  It all comes down to the wrestlers most directly involved & how they project themselves, as well as how the play off of their opponents & to the crowd.  The more realistic they are, the better the situation.
