No philosphy please. Also there have been tests were people from all around the world choose the same people as attractive over and over again so beauty is not subjective or in the eye of the beholder. I have noticed certain people who are ugly have a sickly apperance and are not sick. People very good looking have a glow. Is this a unseen life force or halo. Is it genetics? Is it that people who are ugly have gentic defects that appear as a sickly look. I have a theory that people less attractive are genetically less healthy overall? Am I crazy? Is there any science behind this?

  2. When we look at beauty from a biological point of view, it is merely the visible traits that indicate one's ability to reproduce. In almost all of nature, symmetry is what makes something beautiful, and this includes people. In men, this is clear skin, and good muscles. In women it is clear skin also, and a narrow waist and good bust.

So, ugliness are traits that suggest poor health or inability to reproduce. Asymmetry is ugly as well, eg. a swollen eye or a mole, in theory, is ugly. Discoloured skin, being overweight (men or women) are both ugly.
