Question:

What makes a poem?

i made one, but am afraid to show it.

i think, if it qualifies as a poem, i think it is good.

i might end up just showing it, but for now, what makes a poem a poem?

  1. Poems can be different things. No matter how bad a poem is, it is still a poem. No matter how good a poem is, it does not have a special name- it is just a poem.

    What I try to do with the poems I write, is to harness a raw emotion, build the emotion up, and restrain it until it explodes in a flurry of typing onto the blank, white landscape of paper. A poem should have depth and rhythm, but does not have to rhyme.

    First of all you don't need to be afraid

    to show.  We offer suggestions on

    Also Poems don't have to rhyme

    however, its the authors decision

    There are many different ways to write poetry

    how they want them to come.
