  1. size and population!

Vassiliki - 11 million people in Greece - 82 million in Germany therefore villages/ towns/ cities will be more densely populated than Greek villages etc

  2. Population differences.

  3. First of all the population... Villages have less residents than a town and these residents are connected with deep routed relationships (not only relatives, but there people are more close to each other)

Additionaly, at villages there are less educational or job opportunities and as a consequence more and more people are living villages moving to towns hoping for a better life.

Furthermore, villages are "greener" and more quiet. There isn't that noise as it is at towns

But don't consider greeek villages like an obsolete area. Some of them are as technological advanced as big towns...In some movies although, villages are seen like places that don't have even a car or roads... Thats not true

Anyway, i hope i've been clear enough.. for any further questions ask me freely

  4. population.

  5. a town is bigger with more people, houses and shops. villages are only small communities.

  6. population I think but I am still confused

I used to live in a place of 6.000 people and was considered as komopoli (like mid-town)

and lately i visit a place in Germany with 40.000 (8 times bigger) and they called it as a village!

    so confused....
