What makes a woman lose interest in a man?

Other than desperation - I know nothing puts a girl off quicker than the smell of desperation.

When the guy is a "player" or if his got the wrong intentions/ sick thoughts in mind, when he thinks he is smart and too proud and conceit. If he excessively lies to impress, if he can't stand up for himself or others (how can he stand up for me?).
