  1. Less things to crash into

  2. The distance between air vehicles presents less chance for them to hit one another and the pilots are fully qualified to fly the machines they are in charge of and the pilots are not allowed to use cell phones while flying (driving).

Automobile drivers are less alert and more prone to make mistakes while operating heavy equipment that they are unqualified to operate and they use cell phones to talk or text message friends while driving.

  3. The plane only gets near solid objects at the

beginning and end of the flight.

  4. It's a statistical analysis between the mumber of person/ miles moved by cars and the deaths/ injury numbers doing so, to the person/ miles and the deaths/ injury rate moving in aircraft. So aircraft come out WAY in front.

Which doesn't help at all, if it's your plane that goes down.....

Still, staticically, plane travel is safer!

  5. The frequency of accidents.

There are thousands of flights every day, but we hear of relatively few accidents.

On the other hand, a car accident occurs every few seconds.

  6. Less traffic, more space, no pedestrians and pilots who fly passenger aircraft arent idiots who like to slide sideways through corners or do donuts or burnouts

  7. There are way more cars on the road then planes in the sky.

  8. Really good pilots, high standards on maintenance and flights, and the ability to go straight from one point to another.
