I'm thinking of buying an SUV, but i remember that some are top heavy and likely to turn over while driving. What makes an SUV top heavy? Are there any SUVs that are less top heavy?

  1. Most of their weight is very high above the road.

Many people buy SUVs and then try to make them less top heavy by installing stiff suspension and lowering them - turning them into SUVs that are useless off-road. So the question is, what's the point of buying an SUV....

Range Rover Sport models and Porsche Cayenne are good on and off road, but they are expensive.

If you're not into serious off-roading, cars like Subaru Outback/Legacy and Forester will do for you. The only SUVish car that drives like a normal car is Mazda CX-7.

OK, it's a pseudo off-roader but has higher ground clearance and and a 4WD. And it's actually excellent on normal roads.

  2. they all have high ground clearance ,standard for off roading

  3. As stated above they have a higher center of gravity but many of them have electronic stability control (ESC) which will help them out better along with a wider stance on the road.

  4. A high center of gravity.

  5. Physics -- the center of gravity is much higher on an SUV than a conventional car. Not to worry, they seldom roll over unless T-boned in a severe collision or slide off the road on a steep incline.

  6. no idea ask ur doctor for ur STDs problem
