What makes an (adult) Halloween Party fun in your opinion?

Hubby & I are having our first Halloween Party this year and we were wondering if anyone has pointers from their previous parties or parties they attended?

We have one every year also, we do the scavenger hunts, we live in a smaller town so it is easy to get around.. We do it with pictures etc like get a picture with a local police officer, get a pic of road kill, various things and we have 1 hour to do so.. Also best pumpking carving we did 10.00 gift cards as a prize to or a bottle of wine to the best couples costume etc.. They are lots of fun.
