  2. Its a sport with many varities more than any other  & it keeps adding more like bowl outs & the thrillers (see the Eng vs NZ game few days ago, classsic) & we have seen many greats in the game like Sachin, Lara, McGrath, Wasim & this game generates a lot of passion among the fans!!

In cricket you associate yourself with one team in someway and as it happens rather than being a spectator you get so  involved that you take every move personally- you get possessed so to speak. Not only cricket but in any sport when people get so involved, it becomes popular. Medea and all other mediums also play a significant roll in promoting cricket as we know.
