What makes for a threat?

If someone says "You better watch your back" and "I'm coming for you", are these considered harmful threats?

Its all about the receiver. If someone said this to you then you would have to ask yourself if that feels like a threat or a joke.

Whichever it leans more towards is the answer. React accordingly and understand the capabilities of the threat.

Some people are blowhards and some are not. Some people wait too late to find out which ones are which.
