  1. The days are evil

  2. Humans think they can control the earth because they think their the only ones here and they have the most superior minds. People are starting to think that they can do anything, kind of sad.

  3. we cant really control the earth but we are causing global warming. we cant stop it but i think we can slow it down

  4. Several times in Earth's history, good old Mother Nature almost completely KILLED-OFF ALL life on Earth--

We cannot control the Mississippi River even though we have spent millions of dollars trying-- what makes anyone think we can control the entire Earth!

  5. I do not deny that humans may have some effect on the change of atmospheric chemical properties and that may have a slight effect on the global climate.

However, I DO deny that global warming is absolutely a bad thing.  Scientists "theorize" the effects of a changing climate and try to scare you about stronger storms and droughts and rising sea levels.  But that is just as much of a chance as there is of the elimination of strong weather events and even more fertility in current desert areas.  Besides, we need to learn to adapt to any global changes, not just try to prevent them from happening.

  6. If what we do can't change the Earth, what do you think the Earth would look like if there were no SEWERS! Would you be in favor of not having a sewer system? We need to control the c**p coming out of our machines as well as our butts!

  7. Throughout earths history there have been numerous dramatic instances of environmental and climatic change, it is the driving force of evolution and the major reason why the majority of creatures that once lived on the earth are now dead. Its seems common sense not to s***w with something as powerful as that.

Please explain, why do you think that humans cannot influence the climate, the evidence seems to overwhelmingly suggest that they can provide a substantial increase in the greenhouse effect? What do you believe to be behind the recent warming trend? .

  8. You have one question in here:

    "What makes humans believe..." etc.

The answer to this is science, facts, truth, studies, knowledge.

The rest of your "question" is actually a personal, unsubstantiated opinion (that happens to be factually wrong) that doesn't need an answer.

  9. Really???

Well, I'm glad you have all the science down.

  10. If the atmosphere were liquified, it wouldn't be much more liquid than the great lakes.   Would love to see someone believe we haven't polluted those take a drink out of them.   I suppose humans would be crazy to believe we could make any species go extinct in just a few years (dodo birds???) or species that numbered in the many billions (carrier pigeon?).   Nah, humans could never do that.

  11. You are right when you say humans are not causing global warming. Since other planets in our solar system are experiencing that same thing, minus humans, how can we be. But when you say, can't control the earth, then that's a different thing. One crazy man with the right buttons could wipe out most living things if not all from the face of this planet.

  12. Ah, the voice of reason.  We don't control the climate, the Sun does that for us.

  13. OKay this may seem a bit crazy but I'll put it to you this way. Think of a virus, as the virus grows it gets worse on your body. When you start to take meds for the virus it gets better, but if you don't then it only gets worse. With 6 billion people now living on the earth consuming all the natural resources, how do you not think that the human race is not altering the natural cycle in some way? Global warming or Ice ages do come naturally, but humans depleting resources speed it up.

So, no we cannot stop global warming, but we can do our part in delaying it. This means buying sustainable products which works like the meds ( In a way)

  14. There is little "control" implied by what we have done to the Earth in the last 150 year. Even longer in the past in fact, humans have completely changed whole countries, an English peasant from 800AD would hardly know the country side today vast forests are just gone this is true of large parts of western Europe as well. We are perfectly capable of changing things on a planet wide scale, Mercury in fish is now a world wide problem, the Ozone problem (ignoring the pointless effort to call it a fake) will be a problem for the nest 50 years or so.

And forget polar bears, the number of animals that have already gone extinct since we rose to what we call civilization is on a pare with several of the smaller "mass extinctions" from prehistory"

Humans are not only capable of causing this we can (if we put our minds to it) fix it as well, the Dutch have already proved what can be done they drained half a country in a job that has taken hundreds of years.

  15. The fact that we are causing the Earth to warm up is a pretty good clue that we can control the Earth to a degree.

  16. Yes...we are causing global warming...
