What makes ice cream smell so good

You know when its the middle of summer and you run into the Baskin & Robbins or Carvel with only a t-shirt on and catch a whiff of the ice cream and start asking for samples and gun point? How does ice cream get to smell so good, and how come you can only really smell it at the stores? You know what I'm talking about right?

  1. probably they put something during production that makes it smell better so people ar more attracted to it and ice cream truks might get more customers. and is the person on top of me said the smaller the place the more the scent conserves


  2. because icecream stores are usually small. The smaller the room the more of the scent stays packed in the area created a higher scent of armona.Its like osmosis.

  3. its the thought of knowing that ur gonna eat that ice cream its relaxing on a hot day
