  2. By Blood Chemistry Laboratory, I assume that you mean a Clinical Chemistry Lab, such as in a hospital or large clinic running diagnostic tests.

    For one, you would never be bored.  Something is always going on, and there is a very wide variety of tests to perform.  If you work doing similar tasks at a large clinical reference lab, you could find yourself doing the same things over and over.

    The technology tends to be state of the art.  Bar coded specimens, robotic instruments, Ion selective electrodes, computer control and data correlation, and the list goes on.

    And all for better patient care.  Lives can depend upon your results.

  3. The knowledge that your work is critical to the health of the individual.  Your job has an immediate impact upon people for the better.  You make a difference in other people's lives.
