  1. Spice:  Nice oxymoron (compulsive option), that's a new one for my book.

  2. physical energy

  3. maybe its because they live in straw huts

  4. It's not difficult.  It's expensive.  The first cost of solar electricity can be three to five times the cost of other forms of electricity.

The place where solar electricity can make sense is in rural areas of developing nations (or developed nations, for that matter).  It can be very expensive to run distribution lines way out in the country side to only serve one customer.  In those situations, it can be cost competitive to install solar panels.

  5. Even though it may be compulsive option in the near futrue - its the cost factor which keeps us away. In many countries it is being used for street lighting / water heating etc.

  6. it's a question of $$$$ and you need people with iniciative.

  7. It is not difficult at all ,that is your invention.

It is a question of Money

loads of people with money use solar power for energy

Here in Mexico the Fancy street lamps have solar cells on the poles and are independent.

Plenty of people on the beach have solar cells to run their TV and music ,in the beach restaurants

Tropical countries have a majority of poor people ,

they cannot afford to buy solar power,

And nobody uses solar heating because they are used to washing in cold water ,and it is to hot to have a hot shower ,from their point of view

In South Africa some wealthy Farmers use solar energy to run the irrigation pumps
