  1. The AF is one of the smaller branches, so they do not need the same number of recruits as the others.  Because of this, they tend to get more people interested in joining then they need, so they can be very selective.  The AF requires the highest ASVAB scores.  They also have the toughest guidelines on things like prior misdemeanors, # of dependents and are the hardest one to get waivers from on things like tattoos. The will not accept GED's, although they will accept homeschoolers with proper documentation. If you want to join, study for your ASVAB to get scores in the higher range, talk with a recruiter to see if there is anything in your background that could disqualify you

  2. In nailing the dead Mummy back into the coffin?

    Nail one.

    The next one open up.

    Nail again .

Another one open up in time.

Ghost busting does not come easy.

Feed the hungry ghost is more easy.

    What do you think?

  3. It's more difficult to join the Air Force because they have more people interested in joining.  Therefor, they have the choice to be picky.  As long as you're in good clean physical shape and test well on the ASFAB, you should have no problems getting in.  Don't discard the other branches though, they've all got great opportunities too.

  4. 1:  To talk to a recruiter

2:  To do very well on the ASVAB.
