  1. you mean "caviar"? Caviar was mostly known as a food only for the priveleged, rich people. So some people eat it to appear to be better than others. ex: you buy a mercedes car over a chevy because you want to look better. Some people like caviar because of the taste. It goes great with a lot of foods, and there's nothing else that tastes like it.
