What makes many women at a certain age start to dislike men?

Maybe she had a bad incident or two and is not mature enough to distinguish SOME men from ALL men.  

Or maybe she's just arrogant.

Could it be those women that are attracted to other women only.

I am not sure if this statement is true.  However, you hear some women say, "I always attract losers"  These women are willing to accept negative treatment from men, therefore, they have put themselves into this position and I suppose after a number of years, (and bad apples) they would start to "hate" men as a whole.

I didn't know any did.  I think many women become hurt by man in their lives (fathers and romantic partners especially), and then become prejudice of all men.  But I have seen this at all ages, I have not noticed it at a specific age.

the fact that she basically gave up and found out what men was really about i wish we could learn that a little sooner rather when we turn fifty and miserable for the rest our lives oh and that is when menopause usually likes to show up in your life and put a buzz kill on you s*x drive

Maybe because they've had bad experiences with them. Too many of the same bad experiences especially can make you so much more cautious, insecure and doubtful in the future. Maybe this is the reason why they dislike them, they think they're all the same or they've just not come across the man for them. Maybe they expect too much and are let down.

I noticed at university that the female mature students tended to have accumulated a lot of bad baggage about men and as a result were pretty anti-male. I guess as we get older its just easier to stereotype people based on your experiences than to give each person a break. Sad but true.

Bad marriages I suppose or a particular incident in the past. Or maybe they went to a female prison for a couple of years...

Excellent question!  I was going to ask this.  Asnwer:  I see a lot of women who are about 30-40 years old and or had a child, that they start to dislike men.  I had thought it was due to hormones and bad experiences.
